If you think things couldn’t get worst, well they are. A report from the coronavirus taskforce from The White House was leaked to the media saying that the country was in a red zone.  This means that the coronavirus is a threat to the entire country and could face over 450,000 deaths by February.

It looks like things are getting worst for Future’s baby mama, Eliza Reign. She went to social media to blast not only the rapper but his mama as well.  She says that the father’s grandma doesn’t want to see her grandchild. On top of that, the two are still fighting the child support battle because he wants to give her $1,000 a month.

In other news, Miley Cyrus’ sister, Noah Cyrus is apologizing after getting backlash for calling Candace Owens a “nappy a** heaux”.  She defended Harry Styles who wore a dress on the cover of Vogue and Owens reacted by saying “bring back manly men.” Cyrus claims she didn’t know the history and context of the word nappy and is asking for forgiveness.

DIVAS Simply Singing!, which kicked off on World Aids Day (December 1), is usually an intimate event, but this year it expanded to online and is also being broadcasted live on KTLA 5 in Los Angeles due to COVID-19. Much like HIV/AIDS, COVID-19 further exposed the health disparities in minority communities.

“These are difficult times for everybody,” Ralph says. “People are looking to be uplifted, inspired and feel good. I’m thrilled to be able to bring our DIVAS Simply Singing! annual concert to a virtual audience via television and live streaming for our 30th year!”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that people are now allowed to shorted the quarantine time for people who were exposed to COVID-19.

Previously, those exposed to the virus were recommended to quarantine for 14 days but now can end within “10 days if the person has not developed any symptoms and can end after just seven days if the asymptomatic person also tests negative for the virus,” said Dr. Henry Walke, the agency’s COVID incident manager.

A 10-day quarantine is only advised if the person hasn’t shown any symptoms and can end in seven days if the asymptomatic person tests negative within the 48 hours of the last day of quarantine.

CNBC reports that “a quarantine after 10 days without a negative test leads to about 1% risk of spreading the virus to others” and after a “seven-day quarantine with a negative test, there’s about a 5% chance of spreading the virus”.

Though the days have shortened, the CDC still recommends that the 14-day quarantine is still the best way to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

Fox News reported more than 13.5 million cases of COVID-19 and more than 267,000 deaths.

Since their 2017 divorce, Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey have managed to maintain a cordial relationship. So cordial in fact that she felt comfortable loaning him thousands of dollars.

And according to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, it’s one that has come back to bite Bailey in the butt a bit just as she’s beginning her new life with husband Mike Hill.

On the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” we watched Peter open up the Bar One lounge in Atlanta. From the looks of things on the show, the lounge seemed to be doing well. But due to some shady activity from the landlord, despite Peter’s on-time payments, the property was foreclosed.

Thomas vowed to open up a new location for Bar One. And Bailey loaned him the money to do so.

She spoke about the loan in a 2017 interview with ESSENCE, “…we actually have unfinished business. I’m his partner at Bar One Atlanta. We’re building it out now. This was a project that we started while we were together, and we kind of put it on hold while we were kind of not liking each other so much.”

Sadly, they weren’t able to get things sorted out amongst themselves and Bailey has taken the matter to court.

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Bailey has filed a lawsuit against Thomas seeking to recoup the $170,000 she lent him in order to purchase the new space.

Bailey’s name is on the deed for the building which sadly is also now in foreclosure as well.

Documents show that Peter is set to start making payments to Bailey in January 2021.

Hopefully, they’ll come to a resolution.
