After her shocking elimination on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” Brandy tells UsMagazine.com she’s moving on amid “overwhelming” fan support.

“I feel a lot better,” Brandy, 31, told Us at Thursday’s Hot Hollywood: Stars Who Care bash at the Colony Club in Hollywood.

An early favorite on DWTS, the singer said Tuesday she was “numb” when she learned she wouldn’t be advancing to the final three, while the low-scoring Bristol Palin would vie for the trophy alongside Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey.

“The love that I’ve been receiving has been overwhelming,” Brandy told Us. “And when you have people supporting you, it makes you feel better. So I feel good.”

The star was honored by Us Weekly for her efforts to help Jessica White, 17, get a heart transplant (young Jessica has a congenital heart defect, and her family can’t afford all the medical bills). “I’m happy to be here tonight,” Brandy said. “I think this is a great cause.”
