Black Voices caught up to actor Idris Elba for an exclusive interview during the 14th Annual American Black Film Festival, which is taking place in South Beach, Miami this weekend.
The British thespian has morphed into one of Black Hollywood’s most sought after leading men. And for the anticipated movie festival on the beach, the former scene stealer of HBO’s ‘The Wire’ has taken on the role of being “Ambassador” of this year’s festivities.
Mr. Elba talked candidly about his new movie projects (‘Takers,’ ‘Legacy’ and ‘Thor’), his new television work (‘The Big C’), being considered a sex symbol, his budding music career and his views on interracial relationships in America.
