All original members of legendary band The Time visited a Detroit radio station and quickly got to dishing dirt about Prince.
Morris Day, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Jerome Benton, Jellybean Johnson, Monte Moir, and Jesse Johnson, back together for the first time in over 25 years, talked about how Prince would send his bodyguards to ruff them up if they ever did something he didn’t like, but it didn’t work too often because there were always seven of them and only one bodyguard.
When asked if they ever had issues with Prince, Morris said “yes” and Jimmy Jam explained how members of The Time could fight their own battles, but Prince would send someone in to do his for him.
Jerome Benton chimed in saying “the bodyguard would walk lightly too…”
