Step 1 Try to find a healthy balance of time together and time apart. You don’t want Try not to come across as too needy or too distant. Make sure to have time away from home. Hang out with friends and make sure they know that you don’t NEED them in your life, but you like to have them around. This will make them want to spend more time with you.

    Tell him/her what you need. If you feel there is something that’s bringing your relationship down, let them know. Being open and having good conversations is probably the most important thing to do in a relationship. This is true, even for friends or family members.

    Keep things fresh. If you feel like the relationship is getting kind of boring, find a nice way to let them know. Come up with a fun night out on the town or a new thing to do in the bedroom. Spice things up a bit. Just because you’ve been together a while doesn’t mean you can’t have fun!

    Remind them how much you care. Don’t forget that the simple things really do mean a lot. Tell them how much you love them and that they make you happy. Tell them how cute they look and how much they turn you on. Sit down and talk about when you first met and bring all those new emotions back again.
