Payless ShoeSource will close all 21-hundred-stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico after its liquidation sales begin on Sunday. The company made the announcement on Friday, becoming the biggest closing by a single chain this year. A Payless spokesperson says the stores will most likely remain open until May. The Kansas-based discount shoe retailer previously filed for bankruptcy protection in 2017 when they closed over 670 stores.
