Black Panther is leading the nominations for the 2019 NAACP Image Awards. The blockbuster hit is up for 16 awards in the film, TV and music categories, including the biggest award, outstanding motion picture. It scored multiple nominations in the supporting actor and actress categories. Other nominees this year are the movies ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ and the ‘Hate U Give,’ the TV shows ‘Atlanta,’ ‘Blackish’ ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ and ‘This Is Us,’ and musical artists Childish Gambino, Bruno Mars, Ella Mai and H.E.R.
