After filming wraps for the “Jumanji” sequel, Hart will star in two films produced in conjunction with STX Entertainment through his HartBeat Productions company. The first, “Black Friday,” is described as a comedy based on a story by writer Doan La.

The second project is still untitled and looking for a writer, but is described as an international romantic comedy.

The upcoming films, as well as Hart’s previously announced role in a live-action “Monopoly” movie, all come as Hart’s new movie, “The Upside,” topped the box office this weekend, second only to M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass,” another movie shot in Philadelphia.
