If you want to keep your heart healthy, make sure to get plenty of shut-eye. New research from the National Center for Cardiovascular Research in Madrid found that people who get less than six hours of sleep per night had a 27 percent higher chance of developing a heart condition. Sleeping more than eight hours a night also showed a correlation to heart problems.
