The fall temps are here as the high today will only be 65 degrees.  A great day to get out an experience a lot of things  around the city like the FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL at Waterman’s Family Farm or the 46th ANNUAL PUMPKIN HARVEST FESTIVAL at StoneyCreek, going on now until Oct. 31st.  Plus check out some of the events below.

  • The 12th ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL is here at SS Francis & Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Greenwood.  It’s a 2 day festival with amusement rides, food, drinks and more…plus its FREE.  Get details at ss-fc.org/page.cfm?p=821
  • The 2nd ANNUAL SLAW FEST kicked off at 10am at Sullivan Hardware & Garden.  Enjoy everything slaw from slaw tacos, sliders and all you can eat slaw.  Kids 13 and under are free and it only last until 2pm.  More information is available at slawfest.com
  • Be a part of the GLUTEN-FREE FOOD ALLERGY FEST at the State Fairgrounds. Whether you’re thinking about going gluten-free come on out all weekend to find out more or to get ideas.  Tickets available at indianastatefair.com/events/
  • How about a pie eating contest?  Get your face painted, enjoy the music, games and more at this years PUMPKINFEST at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church off of West 30th Street.  Details available at saintmichaelindy.org
  • There’s a CARMEL APPLE FALL JAMBOREE at Carmel Market District today that starts at 12 noon.  Food from caramel apples to pumpkin spiced treats and more to celebrate fall.  PLus its FREE.  Directions available at facebook.com/MarketDistrictCarmel/
