Snoop Dogg says he is supporting his son’s decision to quit playing football because he is avoiding brain disease.  The rapper expressed his concerns over chronic traumatic encephalopathy on the Wendy Williams Show wednesday.  CTE is found in athletes, military veterans and other people who have experienced repetitive brain trauma  His 21-year-old son, Cordell Broadus, used to play for the UCLA football team before quitting the sport in 2016.  Snoop Dogg says the move was wise because he will now maintain his state of mind.
