“And suddenly, things are starting to fall”…

A new poll claims the sexual assault accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is hurting his support from women.  Only 49 percent of Republican women now support Kavanaugh’s confirmation, a drop of 11 percent from the previous week in a Morning Consult/Politico poll.  Among both Republican men and women his support is still high at 58 percent, but that is a drop of 11 points from the previous week.  The new poll was taken after two women made sexual assault accusations against Kavanaugh but before the judge went on Fox News to defend himself on Monday night.  The Senate Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing Thursday morning to investigate one of the claims.  The poll found that the accusations are also hurting President Trump.  His support among Republican women dropped 19 points in one week to 68 percent.  His support among both Republican men and women also dropped 16 points to 72 percent.
