President Trump is responding to bipartisan criticism after appearing to side with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At yesterday’s joint press conference, Trump said he and Putin had talked, and he doesn’t see any reason why Russia would have interfered in the presidential election. This morning, he tweeted “While I had a great meeting with NATO, raising vast amounts of money, I had an even better meeting with Vladimir Putin of Russia. Sadly, it is not being reported that way – the Fake News is going Crazy!”
