It is known as, “Christmas in July” for Amazon Prime members. Today(Monday), customers will have access to over one million deals. This year, the sale has been extended to a 36-hour period and will now reach global customers in four more countries. Technically, you must be an Amazon Prime subscriber to take advantage of the deals, but some vendors offer discounts to all shoppers and there’s also a loophole that allows free trial users to access the sale. Prime Day is a critical driver of Amazon’s e-commerce sales, as many new subscribers are added after the annual event.
