INDOT paving crews have shut down all but one lane of southbound Interstate 465 on the east side this weekend.  All southbound traffic is funneling from four lanes down to one lane over Fall Creek and past the 56th Street interchange. Traffic is expected to back up as far north as Castleton through the weekend, and INDOT is advising drivers to take alternate routes to avoid delays.

Plus, it’s going to be a hot and steamy weekend with temps over 90 degrees all weekend.  Whatever you and your family do, remember to stay hydrated and look for shady areas while you check out some of the events listed below.

  • Be a part of the INDY CRITERIUM BICYCLE FESTIVAL on Monument Circle today until 7pm.  Bikes, food, races for all ages, VIP/Celebrity rate and more fun for the entire family.  Get details online at indycrit.org
