Welcome to Spring finally as the temps will be close to 80 degrees today. That’s great as the 42nd OneAmerica 500 Festival MIni-Marathon is downtown. The race started earlier today and several roads will be blocked downtown. If you are headed out, check your route if you’re headed downtown. There’s plenty more to do as we celebrate Cinco De Mayo!! Check out some of the events below.
- WTLC’s very own Kenny Kixx is at the MINI-MARATHON downtown until 12pm. If you’re in the area, stop by and say hi. Plus thanks to all of the volunteers that signed up to help pass out water to the runners.
- You can GO APE with the TREE TOP ADVENTURE at Eagle Creek Park starting at 10am. Swing in the trees like Tarzan, on the tarzan swing. Plus zip lines and obstacle course in the tree’s and so much more. Find more information at goape.com/indianapolis

- The NAPTOWN ROLLER DERBY is back at the State Fairgrounds tonight at 6pm. The Tornado Sirens & Warning Belles roll out against the Cincinnati Roller Girls. Tickets are less than $15 and can be purchased at naptownrollerderby.com
