Remind them of the good things you’ve done
You can’t buy the right to do something wrong. It doesn’t matter how many times you babysat for this friend, gave that boyfriend a ride, or lent this person money: that doesn’t earn you the right to do something wrong.
Blame alcohol
“I was drunk” is not an excuse. You know why? Because, while you may not have had much control over your actions once you wermadamee drunk, you did have control over the decision to drink. One way or another, this is your fault and not the alcohol.
