Fire officials are still trying to determine the cause of Saturday’s fire at Trump Tower that left a man dead and four firefighters injured. The blaze claimed the life of 67-year-old Todd Brassner, an art dealer and friend of the late artist Andy Warhol. “The New York Times” reports Brassner had filed for bankruptcy in 2015 and was having trouble selling his Trump Tower apartment. Officials say the apartment did not have sprinklers in it. They were not required when it was first built. In 1999, Donald Trump was part of a group of real estate developers that fought against the retrofitting of sprinklers in existing New York City buildings, saying it was expensive and unnecessary.
