” A Chip off the old block?”
According to a new study published in the Journal of Health Economics, babies who look more like their dads are likely to be healthier by the time they turn one year old. It was based on children living with single mothers.
It found that if the kid looks more like their father, the father is more likely to spedn more time with the child,an average of two-and-a-half days more per month. The suggestion is that the similar looks on some level clue the father in to the fact that the child is indeed their genetic offspring, which causes them to spend more time and resources on the baby.
