The sun is shining so bright and highs near the 60’s in December…wow; must be Indiana. While we can still enjoy nice weather before the snow hits, get the family outdoors to experience some wonderful things before the start of school tomorrow. Check out some of the events listed below:
- Head over to the Indiana State Fairgrounds for their 2hr sessions of ice-skating. Sip on hot chocolate as the little ones try to make around the rink. It takes place in the Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion and you can get more information online at indyfueltank.com/popweaveryouthpavilion
- Check out the Festival of Trees at Lantheir Winery in Madison County. See how the winery is decorated — wall-to-wall — with beautiful decor, Christmas trees, and you can also enjoy samples of award-winning handcrafted wines including limited release holiday wines. - Get aboard the Sullivan Express Train for a ride to the north pole to visit santa’s workshop, the train departs every 20 minutes.
