Bernie Casey passed away at a L.A. hospital at age 78 as learned by TMZ.
Casey’s rep tells TMZ he passed away Wednesday peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He suddenly fell ill recently and was hospitalized the last few days of his life.
Before breaking into the movies, Casey was a former Wide Receiver of the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers in the 1960’s. He also had a passion for painting and poetry.
Some of the movies he’s best known for, “Revenge Of The Nerds,” “I’m Gonna Git You Sucka,” “Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” and “Cleopatra Jones.”
