A judge is denying the NFL’s emergency stay keeping Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott on the sidelines.  U.S. District Court Judge Amos Mazzant the Third has blocked the league’s request as he continues to review the petition filed by the NFL Players Association to have Elliott’s six-game suspension dismissed.  That could take months and allow the Cowboys running back to continue playing.  Elliott was suspended for violating the NFL’s personal-conduct policy following a 13-month investigation into allegations of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend.  An arbitrator upheld the suspension after a three-day appeal hearing, but the Players’ Association filed a petition to try and block any suspension levied against the 22-year-old.
