Just hours after winning pole position for next Sunday’s Indianapolis 500, Scott Dixon and former IndyCar driver Dario Franchitti were robbed at gunpoint at a Taco Bell in Indianapolis.
The robbery took place at 10 p.m. ET Sunday night on West 16th Street with the two robbers fleeing north on Berwick Avenue on foot. Dixon was also accompanied by his wife Emma at the time. Two teenagers were later arrested.
