Beyonce is looking to get a $20 million dollar lawsuit dismissed for the use of YouTube Star Anthony Barré’s voice and video. The video and audio was use in Beyonce’s video “Formation” without authorization by the family of Anthony Barr’e. Anthony Barr’e’s sister filed on behalf of the family because Anthony was shot and killed in the 7th Ward of New Orleans in 2010.
According to The Huffington Post
“In reality, the snippets from the YouTube Videos were used only in the Music Video and, to a lesser extent, during the Live Performances,” the motion, filed by Beyoncé’s legal team, states.
