Stacey Dash has found herself in hot water again with the court of public opinion.
The actress (and social media troll) spoke out in favor of the North Carolina and Mississippi bathroom laws that require transgender people to use the bathroom that aligns with the sex on their birth certificate.
Aside from slamming Caitlyn Jenner in her new memoir There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative, The Fox contributor revealed to Entertainment Weekly that, “It’s tyranny by the minority. Why do I have to suffer because you can’t decide what you wanna be that day?”
Dash insinuated that being transgender is indeed a choice, adding, “It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right? We all make choices. OK, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law.”
Following her awkward appearance on this year’s Academy Awards, the Clueless star also revealed in her upcoming memoir that during her first pregnancy, she was depressed and heavily on drugs. She told People, “When I got pregnant, I was doing a lot of drugs and I didn’t want to live. I wanted to die. I was going to have an abortion… And God told me, ‘Keep your son.’ I ripped the IV out of my arm and I said, ‘I’m keeping my son.’”
There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative hits stands on June 6th.
