Persons with outstanding warrants for minor felonies and/or misdemeanors here and Marion County will have a chance to have their warrants reviewed and potentially resolved instead of being arrested, today… during an event called Operation Safe Surrender. It’s a three-day event that got underway at 9 a.m. this morning and runs until 8 p.m. this evening at what organizers are calling a safe space… Messiah Missionary Baptist Church in the 5600 block of East 38th Street. This again is for persons with level 6 felonies and misdemeanors so you can get a fresh start. To see whether you have a case against you log on to mycase.in.gov. Look for a “w” by your name to see if there’s an active warrant.

He said being included on the ISIS list means he’s “fighting for things like justice, tolerance, and a more inclusive world.”

The NBA’s Kobe Bryant era is over.  The Los Angeles Lakers superstar’s final game was more than memorable.  Bryant poured in 60 points at the STAPLES Center last night to lead L.A. in a come-from-behind win over the Utah Jazz.  While Bryant was ending his historic 20-year career, the Golden State Warriors also made NBA history.  The Warriors broke the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ single-season wins record with a 125-104 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

And let’s hear it for our Pacers in their final season regular season game. They handled their biz on the road beating the Milwaukee Bucks, 97-92.

The Indianapolis Indians host the Columbus Clippers at 7:05 p.m. downtown at Victory Field for the Indians’ home season opener tonight.
