When President Obama touched down in Cuba, it marked the first time in about 90 years that a sitting US president has visited the island nation.  After touching down in Havana, he stopped at the U.S. Embassy, where he explained that the trip is a great opportunity to build bonds with the Cuban people.  Rain welcomed the President, First Lady and their two daughters, but it didn’t stop them from touring the Cuban capital.  A walking tour of the city found them visiting Havana Cathedral among other sites.  During his historic trip, the President will meet with Cuban President Raul Castro and will give an address to the Cuban people.  He’ll also meet with Cuban dissidents and see a baseball game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cuban National Team.
