Taraji P. Henson is showing us just how versatile she really is!The Golden Globe winner and “Empire” star has just landed a role as NASA math genius Katherine Johnson in a new movieHidden Figures.
The movie is set to tell the story of Johnson and two other women she worked with– Dorothy Vaughn and Mary Jackson. The trio were the master minds who helped make history when they headed the launch of astronaut John Glenn into space and back. He is now known as the first American to ever orbit around Earth.
The movie has a tentative release date of Jan. 13.
