Stacey Dash was pretty clear on her thoughts on this year’s Academy Awards but now she’s getting slammed for it.
To recap, she made a statement Wednesday about Black actors (like Jada Pinkett Smith) boycotting the Oscars because of the lack of African American nominees.
She said in part:
If we want to get rid of segregation, we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards, the NAACP Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re Black.
She also said there should be no more Black History Month.
