Actor George Clooney says Hollywood is “moving in the wrong direction” when it comes to diversity. A lot of media attention has been given to the lack of minority nominees in this year’s Academy Awards, but Clooney tells Variety that the problem stems from a lack of minorities in films. Clooney says African Americans aren’t adequately represented in Hollywood, and that the industry needs to “get better at this.”
