“There’s always somebody that’s trying to pull one over on the law.”
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents say they found more than a ton of marijuana inside fake carrots being smuggled into Texas from Mexico. Customs officials in the border town of Pharr, Texas say nearly 25-hundred pounds of pot was found hidden inside fake carrots among a shipment of fresh carrots. The estimated street value of the smuggled drugs is close to a half million dollars.
Looks like fake fruit will be closely monitored as well from now on.
