The massive revamp. This is Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano’s current mission as he focuses on his coaching staff and kicks some of them to the curb. Pagano fired six of them including defensive coordinator Greg Manusky, running backs coach Charlie Williams, safeties coach Roy Anderson, secondary coach Mike Gillhammer, tight ends coach Alfredo Roberts, and head strength and conditioning coach Roger Marandino. Their firing came after Pagano signed his own four-year contract extension on Monday.
It was 20 points for Paul George followed by Monta Ellis’ 19 as the Indiana Pacers dropped the Orlando Magic, on the road at the Amway Center Wednesday night. The final score was 95-86. George Hill added another 16 points in the ‘Blue ‘n Gold’s’ victory. The Pacers have won their last two of three and will continue their road trip, taking on the Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans Friday night.
Bringing the feet and ‘the funny’…
Colts punter Pat McAfee says he’s going on tour around the state, but it’s not to kick folks into gear. He’s announced his comedy tour that he’ll kick off in Evansville on February 10. McAfee will also make tour stops in Muncie, Bloomington and Wabash. Want to let him give you a ‘giggle and grin’? Tickets go on sale on January 15.
