Aretha Franklin In Concert at Universal Orlando

Matt Stroshane

Aretha Franklin is being sued.  A condominium association in Bloomfield Township, Michigan is suing the soul singer for non-payment of more than eleven-thousand dollars on a property she owns.  Franklin, Ally Financial and CitiMortgage are named in the suit as being responsible for unpaid assessments on a 41-hundred-square-foot condo valued at close to 700-thousand dollars.  The lawsuit is the most recent financial dispute involving Franklin, whose net worth is estimated at over 60-million-dollars.
