When Terrence Howard opened up to Rolling Stone about his past he received a lot of backlash. Well his boss Lee Daniels decided to defend him during his interview with ‘The Hollywood Reporter.’
“[Terrence] ain’t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he’s some f—in’ demon.”
Daniels believe Howard only received backlash because he is black.
“That’s a sign of the time, of race, of where we are right now in America.”
Because of his comment he made to the Hollywood Reporter, Sean Penn has filed a $10 Million lawsuit for defamation of character.
