D’Angelo is teasing a follow-up to his 2014 “Black Messiah” album.  In an interview with “Rolling Stone,” the singer says the album is meant to be a companion piece to “Black Messiah” and is part of that album’s same vision.  D’Angelo is also giving insight into the making of “Black Messiah.”  Even though it took D’Angelo over a decade to release his third album, he wouldn’t have released it if it was up to him.  However, it wasn’t that he didn’t want to share his music with fans, but that he had too many songs for one album.

Just a thought, he could’ve made a double album and his fans wouldn’t have to wait so long for his third album since he had so many songs.
