If you’ve used your credit card to buy hair or nail care products in the last few months, you may want to pay attention. For a second time in a little more than a year, major beauty supply company Sally Beauty Supply says its payment card system has been hacked. Officials with the beauty retail giant said Thursday morning they now have evidence to confirm that an illegal breach has occurred in their system. The CEO of Sally Beauty says they are working to address the issue quickly, and to care for any customers who may have been affected by the breach. The retail stores service both private consumers and beauty professionals who purchase wholesale. They’ve provided a customer service hotline at 1-866-234-9442 and email customerserviceinquiry@sallybeauty.com to answer any questions from customers who have concerns. The company is headquartered in Denton, Texas and has 22 stores in Central Indiana with six of those locations spread across Indianapolis (including Speedway).
