There’s still time to register for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (aka “Black Caucus” or “CBC”) Sept. 24-27, but if you can’t make it to Washington, D.C. , you can still take part in the experience.

NewsOne will be livestreaming the Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Rev. Dr. Calvin O. Butts III, world-renowned educator, community advocate and pastor of New York’s Abyssinian Baptist Church, will deliver the morning message of hope. Musical ministry will be provided by Richard Smallwood, and the Central State Chorus, led by James Smith.

And if you’ve just got to be there as they gather in the spirit of praise and progress, you can buy tickets here.

Other must-attend events include a Celebration of Leadership in the Fine Arts on Sept. 24 honoring Phylicia Rashad, Bill Withers and Dr. Alvin Poussaint; as well as the Phoenix Awards Dinner on Sept. 27 honoring Radio One chairperson and founder Catherine L. Hughes, and civil rights leader Wade Henderson. NewsOne is a part of the Radio One family of media outlets.
