Jazz/funk keyboard legend George Duke passed away today at the age of 67. With a career spanning five decades, playing with everyone from Miles Davis to Frank Zappa and George Clinton, he has left an indelible mark on the world of music.

Keep an eye out for a young percussionist by the name of Sheila Escovedo, who would enter the popular consciousness in her own right a few years later as ‘Sheila E.’
