Flavor Flav is denying reports that his fiancée overdosed. On Monday TMZ reported that Liz Trujillo had been rushed to the hospital after overdosing on painkillers. Flav’s camp later shot down the report. A rep tells the celebrity gossip website that the claim of a drug-related incident “could not be further from the truth.” Instead, Trujillo is being treated for exhaustion because she had been up all night filming an episode of the VH1 reality show “Couples Therapy.” The rep also hinted that the producers for the reality series have been playing up reports of an overdose in order to get a boost in ratings. Flav and Trujillo had apparently signed on to the show to settle problems in their relationship.
