The family of 10-year Tatyana Staten relieved that she was found alive yesterday…….her grandmother Delores Smith appeared on WTLC’s ACCESS Indy Sunday live pleading for her granddaughter’s return…and less than two hours later, Smith was back on the air celebrating her granddaughter’s return!  Tatayana is at a local hospital recovering from hypothermic conditions.

Indianapolis has its eye on the 2018 Super Bowl. A representative from Circle City was in New Orleans over the weekend to check out football festivities there.  Allison Melangton says multiple cities have announced they are considering a bid, including New Orleans, Minneapolis and Denver.  Indianapolis will submit its interest form to NFL team owners in August and if chosen, will submit its bid for 2018 in May of 2014.

An IMPD officer is on the Indianapolis “Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list.  Officer Kendale Adams was selected for his success and community service.  Adams, who works in the media relations office, was teamed up with a police officer through a mentoring program and was already in the process of joining the police department by his senior year in college.
State lawmakers will start debating this week whether or not to allow Sunday alcohol sales in Indiana.  The Hoosier state is the only state that prohibits carry-out sales on Sunday.  A hearing is scheduled to begin at the Statehouse on Wednesday.
