Classes have been canceled at Arlington High School today because of a gas leak.
Firefighters say the leak is due to a water heater at the school at 46th and Arlington.
Indianapolis Fire Department says about 35 teachers were evacuated. Students had not yet arrived at school at that time, but are being held outside of the school.
The gas to the building has been turned off and they are letting the building air out. Any students already at the school will be bused home.
