Aretha Franklin can add Jennifer Hudson’s name in the hat with the other actresses who could play her in a biopic.
In a surprise performance/ Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin tribute last night for Hearst, Jennifer Hudson told the audience she wants to portray the Queen of Soul in an upcoming movie about her life.
Franklin mentioned her wish list earlier this year with Nia Long, Kerry Washington and Audra McDonald.
Jennifer Hudson may have a leg up since she’s an Oscar-Winning actress and Grammy-Winning singer. Best of both worlds.
