Looks like Justin Combs wasn’t the only celebrity offspring offered a scholarship to UCLA this coming fall semester. Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus was also extended a football scholarship by the University. Cordell recently graduated from Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, California and word is that the 6-2” 185 lb graduate has a very promising sports career in his future.

UCLA is the first offer Cordell has received and it seems as though the wide receiver and defensive back is seriously considering it. However, the university’s proposal is probably the first of many, as Diamond Bar is known for its notable football alummi. New Orleans Saints safety Jonathan Amaya, New England Patriots safety Bret Lockett, and Patriots center Ryan Wendell all graduated from the school.

With all the controversy surrounding Justin Combs’ UCLA scholarship (because Diddy is his very rich father), Cordell might face the same scrutiny. Local taxpayers and community members were upset that Diddy’s son earned a full athletic scholarship, saying that with Bad Boy CEO’s bank account, Puff doesn’t need the financial assistance and can without a doubt foot the bill for tuition.

This could get interesting…
