With the Big Game in town this weekend, it’s been interesting to see women and men completely change when they see a celebrity they find attractive. It all started when I was sitting in a restaurant and a 20-something woman squealed when she saw a certain NBA player walk by and then followed him out into the street.
So, what’s the attraction for women when it comes to celebrities?
After taking a poll, here are the three top reasons women said they are attracted to celebrities:
1. Women want a man.
Many of the celebrities in town are athletes – who tend to have more manly features than the average guy. They’re taller, have wide shoulders and deep voices.
2. Women want security.
Financial security is a major turn.
3. Women enjoy social status.
Social status allows you to be invited to exclusive parties, enjoy VIP perks and an overall glamorous lifestyle.
