Today was the beginning of another school year for the largest school district in the state, IPS (Indianapolis Public Schools.) This year is especially important to me, because this year my grandson starts his formal education, and like many families in Marion county, I was up first thing this morning to see him off to school. Also like many families my grandson will attend an IPS school this year, but unlike alot of people, I have faith in IPS. One of my older children graduated for an IPS School, (Northwest High School) and it was that education that helped to build the foundation for her success in life. It is my plan to give you a monthly report of how my grandson is doing, and how things are going with his educational experience. My grandson’s success is not just the schools responsibility, but our responsibility as a family.
