R&B singer Vivian Green switched things up when it came time to record the soon to be released album, “Beautiful”.

Under new direction with a new label, E1 Music, Green dropped frequent trips to various studios and collaborating with a bevy of producers for a more intimate recording process.

With the exception of “Save Me” and “I Know How,” two songs listed on the twelve track album, which she cut with Jason Farmer (Keyshia Cole, Rihanna, Wyclef Jean) in the producer’s seat, Vivian recorded the entire album with Grammy-nominated producer Anthony Bell.

Bell, a longtime friend and collaborator who made key production contributions to her first two albums, and whose extensive resume also includes work with Jazmine Sullivan, Jewel, Musiq (Soulchild), Raheem DeVaughn and Jill Scott,’ is credited with most of the album, including its title track “Beautiful”.

A video for that single, “Beautiful,” was released this week.

Shot by director Chris Stanford, “Beautiful” is now available online and via Centric TV.

Vivian Green’s “Beautiful” (the album) is due in stores April 6, 2010.
