As everyone know I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from Single Ladies. Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now im going to go continue enjoying my vacation!

Stacy Littlejohn, the show’s principal writer and executive producer, also responded to the grilling on LisaRaye’s Facebook:

LisaRaye is a very strong woman and we love her, but she does not have that kind of power, nor at any time did she seek to influence any casting decisions. Furthermore, no cast member of Single Ladies has the power to get another cast member fired. the 6th grade back-stabbing that LisaRaye’s being accused of is completely the creation of uninformed, instigating internet gossip. Please don’t buy into it. Let’s just celebrate that we have a Season 2 coming!!!!

12. LisaRaye, 43. Though she sometimes annoys me, I’d officially be a hater if I didn’t give the woman her props. She is 43 and fabulous!

11. Common, 39. Proving that some of the high yella fellas still got it, Mr. Common sense will forever hold the subtle sex appeal of an African king and the wisdom of an old soul. I can’t even front, I was surprised myself when I saw how close to 40 he is, it doesn’t even matter because he still has “it.”

10. Oprah Winfrey, 57. Although she’s no Miss America, I will say that to be approaching the big 6-0, she sure doesn’t look like it. I mean don’t get me wrong, she’s no 37 but she also doesn’t look like she’s almost 60.

9. Halle Berry, 44. Although I get extremely tired of hearing about her beauty, I simply can’t deny it. She’s absolutely more beautiful now as a 44 year old mother, then she was as a pageant girl at 18, in my own personal opinion.

8. Stacey Dash, 45. This woman at 45 looks exactly like she did when she played Deon on “Clueless,” if not better. The woman is absolutely gorgeous!

7. Phylicia Rashad, 63. Mrs. Huxtable hasn’t changed a bit, everything from her beauty, style, grace, and class is still in tact, without a hair out of place!

6. Gabrielle Union, 38. For a woman kissing 40, She still could pass for 25. No lie.

5. Angela Bassett, 52. The soon to be 53 Angela Bassett, has been a staple for the beautiful black actress for years. Not only that but the woman has arms that will put Michelle Obama’s to shame.

4. Blair Underwood, 46. Without a wrinkle in sight Blair Underwood is to black women, what George Clooney is to Caucasian’s, in other words–all of that! This man still looks just as good as he did in “Set It Off,” when he was pouring wax down Jada Pinkett’s back, and chile I am not mad.  At all.

3. Jada Pinkett-Smith, 39. Though there’s much speculation as to whether or not she’s had work done or not, one thing you cannot say is that if she didn’t throw some dookey braids in her hair or cut it short to a fade, she could still look like she did back in 1995.

2. Will Smith, 42. I’d be lying if I said Will looks exactly like he did during his fresh prince days, but he does look amazing to be in his forties.

1. Nia Long, 40. In my eyes, Nia Long exemplifies beauty! I’ll nominate her as the most beautiful woman in the world over Halle Berry any day, no lie. This woman looks better pregnant at age 40 looks better than Lindsey Lohan at 25. Don’t believe me, take a look at the gallery.

5. Val has a juicy past! “What’s done in the dark will come into light.” Val’s bisexual past is coming to catch up with her as her old college lesbian experience with…(drum roll please)…you guessed it, the lesbian community’s own, Queen Latifah, is revealed! In turn, the affair gets blown up in the media by the beautiful butch herself.

4. Keyshia is falling in love. It seems as though the Playa’s Club President, Keisha, is officially on her way to turning in her playa’s card – which should’ve been done years ago but, hey, at least she’s giving it up.

3. Keisha plays mentor. Say what you will about her, but Keisha began to grow on me this episode. She seems to have matured in the show and in the midst of pulling a favor for April, she comes across an aspiring video hoe model willing to do anything to get her name out there. So, Keisha comes to the rescue and saves her from a possibly humiliating night. She allows her to stay the night at her and Val’s place but later, while taking her home to her brother’s house, Keisha discovers the model’s brother is actually Malcolm – her constant flame and current love. Eventually they make up and Keisha comes clean about the watch she stole from him to keep the events of her scandalous past from turning up in a book.

2. April’s artist ODs on drugs. In the midst of trying to manage her new artist Reed, she realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew as she constantly has to chase her artist to keep up with him. With missed studio time and late show appearances, Reed eventually overdoses on drugs and April finds she needs to tighten her leash on him. She orders him to sleep on her couch until after the album is done.

1. Reed tries to show his appreciation for April. In an attempt to show his love and appreciation for all of April’s hard work and dedication she’s invested into his career, Reed makes his way during the wee hours of the morning and attempts to give April some of the “sweet daddy” but much to his surprise, April remains professional and lets it be known that nothing but the rent is going down between them. As he pleads his case and tries to let her know he’s just being appreciative, she sends him on his way, telling him to put it in a love song.

Once I finally began to block out the annoying lacefronts of Keisha and April, and the ignorant, redundant references to LisaRaye’s assets, I continuously found myself wondering what will happen next. This week’s episode was filled with numerous moments that had us saying “Wait…what the f__?”

Check out the 5 WTF moments from last night’s “Single Ladies”:

5. Val attempts to be every woman during her “man cleanse.” After Keisha and April pointed out that Val hadn’t been perfectly single since the 7th grade, Val made a moral promise to herself to do a “man cleanse.” Unsure of what to do with herself without the aid of a man, Val busies herself with new hobbies like golf and things as ridiculous as attending college parties.

4. Keisha sleeps with the enemy. Keisha and her trainer work up a “black sweat” in every sense of the word in the midst of attempting a work out session. Unfortunately for Keisha, instead of paying attention to putting in “work on her body,” he turned out to be paying more attention to the belongings, that weren’t attached to her body.

3. They go to a college party. While Keisha, April and Val do not look old, they also don’t even almost look college-aged. Picture that. In the midst of a flock of midriff-baring girls, bicep-bulging guys, and a giant beer keg on deck….you look to the left corner of the party and see a set of noticeably older women dressed to the nines in thousand dollar Louboutin’s– it’s just not a good look on their behalf.

2. April’s husband tries to “stick her for her paper.” In previous episodes April’s husband vowed to get her for her trust fund and this week, he made good on his threats by making extravagant purchases and removing her name from their joint account, forcing April to hire herself a lawyer, and a good one at that.

1. Val and Keisha’s apartment is broken into. While Keisha was sleeping with her personal trainer she actually opened their home up to be ransacked and robbed because that’s exactly what happened the moment Keisha let her guard down.

5 Most Predictable Moments From The “Single Ladies” Premiere [VIDEO]

While I struggled through the entire episode and constantly resisted the urge it gave me to go play in traffic I am proud to state the fact that I did it(cues super hero music). I completed the full episode of “Single Ladies” just so I could bring to you the 5 most annoying events of this week’s episode of “Single Ladies,” check it out below:

5. The sub-par acting skills of LisaRaye. LisaRaye’s acting chops have always been less than stellar, but it also doesn’t help that her speaking voice sounds like not only has she been smoking since birth but guzzling warmed rum in a baby bottle as well. This week Keisha (LisaRaye) and her on again off again flame Malcolm, were currently on again as he used his desire to do business with Val (Stacey Dash) as a ploy to get closer to Val. That, I have no problem with. That’s actually a pretty solid story line, however, all of that went out the window as the moment LisaRaye opened her mouth to deliver her lines it was reminiscent of a 3rd grader delivering their lines in their elementary school play. Word for the wise Lisaraye, when the director yells “CUT,” you are supposed to read your lines. Not spit them. Just because you deliver a line with force, doesn’t mean you’ve delivered a powerful acting performance.

4. Stacey Dash can’t stand on her own in one episode. Like every week, VH1 wasted another unnecessary actor. What do I mean by that you ask? In nearly every episode Dash is linked to 1 or more men, the annoying thing about this however, is that it’s a waste of an actor because they are never a consistent factor in the show. This time, in an attempt to Dash to actually be “single” in this episode, she feigned disinterest in possibly the one guy that could’ve actually treated her right and actually had the desire to get to know her for who was and not just for her sex. Smart move “Val.” Real smart.

3. The failed attempt at this being the black “Sex And The City.” Um, while I understand there is a lacking of “sisterhood” shows in black television, everything doesn’t have to take a following to “Sex And The City.” If it does, it can’t be on basic cable and it damn sure needs better acting. While this has never really been a declared statement, this is the direction I feel like the show is trying to take, for example: You’ve got the “Samantha” and that is the friend that does h*o ish and will pretty much always do h*e ish and everyone has a general understanding of that, which is Val. You have Keisha that is sort of a combination of “Miranda” and “Carrie”in the sense that she’s the friend that does not and will not be up for the BS but she also has a constant flame in her life that most likely will be on the back burner through the midst of each and every fling. Then you have the “Charlotte” which is the somewhat conservative friend that is slightly dingy that does her fair share of sleeping around as well, which would be April.

2. Charity Shea and LisaRaye’s lace front fright. (In my Florida Evans voice) Damn…Damn…Dayum! In the midst of struggling through the show to do this post, I also struggled with resisting the urge to put my hand through the computer screen to snatch them dayum wigs! The fact that their hair skips the entire hairline part of a person’s hair and immediately flows into the thickest parts of a person’s hair bugs me to no end.

1. The awkward moment when Val’s intern Kristina Keeps getting caught having sex in crazy places. Sex is one of those things that only makes sense, in instances when it only makes sense. There is just no way around it. While I’m no prude, sex is also one of those things that makes you super uncomfortable when it’s happening in overkill. So when Kristina gets repeatedly gets caught spreading love, first in Val’s store and second in the car. I’m not complaining about the numerous occurrences of sex in the show, I’m just saying, it doesn’t work when its aimlessly being shoved down your throat while lacking in substance.

5. Val tries online dating. Val tries online dating thinking it solve all of her dating drama. Psyche! She quickly learns that there is more drama in online dating than it is face to face. I know you guys can relate to this because we’ve all been caught at a dating standstill and have the feeling of trying something new in hopes of having a better outcome. Okay, so you’ve never done this. I guarantee you one if one of your girlfriends hasn’t already done it, she’s thought about.

4. Val meets the “I only like vanilla in my coffee”kind of guy. This is extremely common amongst the black community as of late, and aside from it being annoying there’s really not a problem with it. However, there is ways to go about this situation in a non-condescending way and when a man doesn’t understand that, it becomes a problem. Everywhere you look there are mixed couples and instead of getting angry with our brothers over, do like Val and get even. If they step to the other side, try something new and do the same. Hey who knows, you might actually “be down with the swirl.”

3. April gets called out. We all have skeletons in our closet, and at some point that closet must open and boy do those skeletons fall. Nobody is perfect, and not all of us has cheated but we all have that home girl that has. They cheat on their good men and cry like a baby after sh*t hits the fan.* Cough, cough…April. *Cough, Cough*

2. Keisha gets played. You know how the story goes: Girl sleeps with Boy. Boy channels Wesley Snipes in “Disappearing Acts” and gets missing. It happens to the best of us.

1. Getting blamed for your girlfriends ho-tendencies. This is possibly the most common out of the selection and it’s all because of the “girl code.”Women stick together and simply ignore their girlfriends cheating, and then when the guy finds out they go straight to YOU with the shade. Don’t feel too bad though, many men do the same thing, only worst.

A source tells Uѕ Weekly that actress Stacey Dash is acting out on the set of the new Queen Latifah-produced show “Single Ladies.” On Tuesday at around 2:27 a.m., Dash reportedly ran οff set screaming, “Nο, I ain’t coming back unless that b*tch gets her as* kicked!”
