Tom Joyner "Right Back Atcha"

Joyner was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, and received a degree in sociology from Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University). Joyner joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Tom began his broadcasting career in Montgomery, Alabama and worked at a number of radio stations in the American South, before moving to Chicago at WJPC (AM). In the mid-1980s, Joyner was simultaneously offered hosted to shows and commuted daily by plane between the two cities, earning the nicknames “The Fly Jock” and “The Hardest Working Man in Radio.” In 1994, Joyner became the host the nationally-syndicated program, The Tom Joyner Morning Show.

Liz “Faith” Dixson is a radio personality you can currently hear blessing the airwaves as afternoon host of the Kingdom Takeover from 3pm-6pm Mon-Fri & God Squad co-host of the Nu Church Radical Praise Party every Saturday from 5pm-7pm on AM1310 The Light. She also produces the Hall of Fame Talk Show Afternoons with Amos Brown on AM1310. Her word of encouragement to Indianapolis listeners is “God has a plan and purpose for each and every one of you!
