Born and raised in Indiana, Marcus Wain’s courtship with radio started at an early age. Back when he was 8 or 9 he remembers carrying his cheap boombox around repeating everything he heard the DJ announce. His mother wanted him to be a violinist; all he wanted was 2 turntables and microphone. Music has always been Marcus’ escape. Whenever he was upset he would just turn on the radio. Thru the years, his passion for radio has never died. Now he’s on the radio. In fact, he’s on the radio station he grew up listening to… 106.7 WTLC. Marcus is not new to the TLC family. He started off as an intern with Shot Caller Garth Adams learning everything he could, as he worked hard to reach his dream of being on the radio.
