Marcus Wain
Born and raised in Indiana, Marcus Wain's courtship with radio started at an early age. Back when he was 8 or 9 he remembers carrying his cheap boombox around repeating everything he heard the DJ announce. Joyner was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, and received a degree in sociology from Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University). Joyner joined Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Tom began his broadcasting career in Montgomery, Alabama and worked at a number of radio stations in the American South, before moving to Chicago at WJPC (AM).
